Party conventions are held every two years. There are 3 levels of conventions this year; precinct, county/senate district,and state. Attendees at each level pass resolutions and elect delegates to the next level convention. These resolutions and delegates help shape the party platform and its direction regarding public policy. To be a delegate, you must affiliate with the Republican Party (by voting in the Republican Primary or by taking an oath of affiliation).
For Kimble County:
Each Precinct will have their convention following the Primary Election on March 6th.
We will meet for our County Convention at a date TBD following the Primary Election.
The State Convention, which we can send our delegates to attend, will be June 14-16 in San Antonio.
