Great News! The Gilmer Memorial Library and Texas Wildlife Association will be working together to provide citizens of Edwards County an opportunity to complete the Hunter’s Education Course locally. It’s the law; every hunter (including out-of-state hunters) born on or after Sept. 2, 1971, must successfully complete a Hunter Education Course. We would like to help hunters young and experienced ensure they are in compliance with the law! We will offer a course in Janurary to get folks ready for Turkey Season.

Where: Gilmer Memorial Library
Date: Saturday, January 28, 2017
Time: Basic Course- 9AM-3PM; Enhanced Course- 11AM-3PM

Participants will have two course choices:
*Enhanced Course- Complete a portion of the course online. Come on the 28th for a short classroom course, skills course, and range experience.
*Basic Course- Complete the entire course in the classroom including the skills course and range.
