CELEBRATING…the golden anniversary of the Devil’s Sinkhole being named a National Natural Landmark…IYCK e International Year of Caves and Karst…the twentieth year of the Devil’s Sinkhole Society, the volunteer group that provides tours to the Devil’s Sinkhole State Natural Area…neighbor national natural landmarks and parks…First nations that roamed the area over 14,000 years…and BATS.
The Buffalo Soldiers troop will also be on site sharing the history of the Buffalo Soldiers as they roamed and patrolled this area of Texas during the Indian Wars campaign.

Stargazing with the San Antonio Astronomical Association will start when darkness is adequate after the bat show.

A Texas Parks bat expert will present a program at the Rocksprings School Auditorium at 11 A.M. and repeat the program at 1:30 P.M.
